    Information Night will provide you with a brief overview of the youth in foster care, the role of a foster parent and the process to becoming certified with the Collaborative Foster Care Program. Attendance at Information Night is required before you will be provided pre-application paperwork and before you begin the Pre-Service Training.

    The LFS Foster Care Program provides skilled and caring substitute families for children who cannot live with their birth families for a number of different reasons. Most children in foster care have been abused or neglected. Foster families provide foster children with a safe, nurturing home and work with LFS staff to address each child’s individual needs.

    2 training hours will be earned. This is a free event. Childcare provided.
