Action Required: Create a Moodle account to continue using the Child Welfare Training System
The Child Welfare Training System is introducing a new learning management system, Moodle. Moodle will allow foster, adoptive and kinship parents to continue taking continuing education classes offered online and in person at one of the four regional training centers.
If you have not already done so, please create your new Moodle account by July 31. To create a new account, visit the CWTS website and click on My Account. You will then be directed to Moodle and guided through the new account creation process.
Please note that although you are not currently able to view your past training history, CWTS can! The training team is able to see all of the courses you completed through the legacy CWTS system and verify that your annual training hours are complete. They are working to upload your training history to your new Moodle account, but this can only do after your new account has been created.
Transition is never without challenge and your patience is appreciated. As you create your new account and explore the innumerable learning experiences available to you through Moodle, please do let CWTS know how they can most effectively support you through this change.
